Delaware Bar Scholarship
The Delaware Barristers Association February Bar Scholarship (“February Bar Scholarship”) provides payment or reimbursement for the Delaware Bar application filing fee or expenses related to a bar review course (up to $5,000 total). The February Bar Scholarship is open to future practitioners who have registered and will sit for the February 2026 Delaware Bar Exam from an underrepresented group to help defray the costs expended for the February Bar Exam.
To be eligible for the February Bar Scholarship, the applicant must provide the following:

A 1500-2000 word essay that assesses the merits of participation in a professional affinity group

A financial statement detailing all sources of financial assistance for bar preparation

An unofficial law school transcript

One letter of reference, and

A current resume
Applications and required materials must be dated by March 30, 2026. Applicants who meet the qualifications will be contacted for a Zoom interview, which will occur in April 2026.
